Publication Ethics

Duties of Authors

1. Authors must submit original work that has not been previously published or is under consideration for publication elsewhere.

2. Authors must not falsify or present false information.

3. Authors must not plagiarize on copyrights of data, content, or images in their own articles.

4. Authors must correctly reference other works. A properly formatted bibliography must be included at the end of the article as per the journal's guidelines.

5. All listed authors must have contributed to the manuscript or the research.

6. Authors must prepare their manuscripts according to the journal's format requirements.

7. Authors must disclose any funding sources supporting their research (if applicable) and any potential conflicts of interest (if applicable).

8. Authors must revise their articles based on feedback from reviewers and the editorial board within the specified timeframe.

9. Authors must not violate the copyright of others. In case of any copyright infringement lawsuit related to any part of the article, the authors and co-authors must bear full responsibility.

 

Duties of Editors

1. Editors are responsible for reviewing and screening articles to ensure they align with the journal's aims and scope. If an article does not conform, the editor must inform the author and reject the submission.

2. Editors must assess and verify the quality of each article before considering it for publication in the journal.

3. Editors must manage a double-blind peer review process, ensuring that the identities of authors and reviewers are not disclosed to unrelated parties during the review period.

4. Editors must arrange for at least two qualified reviewers from diverse institutions to evaluate each article.

5. Editors must check for plagiarism in submitted articles. If plagiarism is detected during the review process, the editor must halt the review, contact the author for an explanation, and decide whether to accept or reject the article based on the response.

6. Editors have the final authority to accept or reject articles for publication.

7. Editors must avoid conflicts of interest with authors or reviewers.

8. Editors must not use submitted articles for personal business benefits or as their own academic work.

9. Editors are responsible for maintaining the journal's standards and continuously improving its quality and relevance.

 

Duties of Reviewers

1. Reviewers should accept the review only in their areas of expertise. If they lack the necessary expertise, they should inform the editor and decline the review.

2. Reviewers must evaluate the article and provide constructive feedback to the author to the best of their ability.

3. Reviewers should assess the article based on its quality, reasoning, and academic merit, avoiding personal opinions not supported by data.

4. Reviewers must not disclose information about the article to unrelated parties during the review period.

5. Reviewers should avoid conflicts of interest with the author. If there is any potential conflict, reviewers must inform the editor and decline the review.

6. Reviewers must check for plagiarism. If they find any clear evidence of duplication with other works, they must report it to the editor immediately.

7. Reviewers must not exploit the reviewed work for personal gain.

8. Reviewers should provide detailed recommendations and justifications for accepting or rejecting the article to the editor.

9. Reviewers must complete the review within the specified timeframe. If unable to do so, they should contact the editor to arrange a new deadline.
