THE WORK MOTIVATION THAT AFFECTING THE EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT OF SUPPORT PERSONNEL IN PRIVATE UNIVERSITY AT PATHUMTHANI PROVINCE

Abstract
The primary goals of this study were to: 1) examine the motivation of support staff at a private university in the province of Pathum Thani; 2) investigate the organizational commitment of support staff at a private university in Pathum Thani; and 3) analyze the motivation in operations that influences the engagement of support staff at a private university in Pathum Thani Province. This study employs quantitative research methodology. A proportional stratified sample was chosen, and descriptive statistics like frequency, percentage, mean, Standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis were examined. A questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 311 support staff members at a private university in the Pathum Thani Province as part of the research project.
According to the study's findings,
1) relationships with coworkers (= 4.46), followed by job responsibility (
= 4.32) and welfare and remuneration (
= 3.15), are the factors that drive support staff members at a private university in the province of Pathum Thani the most.
2) There is a high degree of overall dedication to the support staff organization at a private institution in Pathum Thani Province. In other words, the aspect that exhibits the highest level of commitment is the aspect of strong belief, which is defined as acceptance of the organization's goals and values ( = 4.28), followed by a willingness to put in a significant amount of effort for the organization's benefit (
= 4.25), and lastly by a strong desire to continue being an organizational member (
= 4.00).
3) At a private university in the province of Pathum Thani, work motivation has a statistically significant impact on support staff engagement, with a significance level of.05. Job security (β =.821) (Sig. =.000*) was the factor that affected the most, and job responsibility (β = -.274) (Sig. =.000) followed in second. *) Considering the type of work done, the predictive power and prediction error are 86.6% and.217 (SEE =.217), respectively, with β =.262)(Sig. =.000*).
