บทคัดย่อ
ทฤษฎีเศรษฐศาสตร์การเมืองที่เน้นรัฐเป็นศูนย์กลาง คือ แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับกลไกรัฐและการปกครอง (Concepts about state apparatus and governance) รัฐนิยม (Statism) ทฤษฎีว่าด้วยชนชั้นนำ (Elite Theory) โครงสร้างอำนาจเชิงอุปถัมภ์ (Patron-client systems) มีวัตถุประสงค์นำทฤษฎีทั้ง 4 ทฤษฎีเพื่อเป็นวิทยาทานความรู้ให้กับผู้สนใจศึกษาเศรษฐศาสตร์การเมือง เพื่อนำทฤษฎีข้างต้นไปประยุกต์ใช้ในกรณีศึกษาที่เห็นว่าเหมาะสมตามแต่กรณี ดังนั้น บทความนี้นำเสนอว่า ทฤษฎีทั้ง 4 เป็นการอธิบายองค์ความรู้แห่งทฤษฎีเศรษฐศาสตร์การเมือง เช่น กระบวนการสร้างรัฐนิยม ระบบอุปถัมภ์ชนชั้นนำ ฯลฯ เป็นแนวทางการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับประเด็นสำคัญทางเศรษฐศาสตร์การเมืองสำหรับแนวทางศึกษาสำหรับผู้ที่สนใจ
