SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT TOWARDS A JUST SOCIETY OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATIONS OF KHELANG NAKHON LOCAL MUNICIPALITY

Abstract
This research aims to: 1. study the general context, problems, causes, obstacles, and necessity for the development of Khlang Nakhon Municipality. 2. examine the components and factors for the sustainable development of Khlang Nakhon Municipality and the creation of a just society. 3. develop a sustainable development plan for Khlang Nakhon Municipality that fosters a just society, and 4) propose a master plan for the sustainable development of Khlang Nakhon Municipality and the creation of a just society. Data was gathered from a sample of 100 executives, staff, and support personnel through a questionnaire. The study adopted a tripartite research methodology incorporating quantitative, qualitative, and action research designs. Focus group interviews were conducted to complement the data collection process.
Research findings reveal a highly positive perception among administrators and personnel regarding the sustainable development of Khlang Nakhon Municipality towards a just society. Key findings include:
1.Economic Dimension: The municipality effectively utilizes outputs from self-sufficient economy projects to support community development, empowering citizens to become self-reliant. Furthermore, there is a strong focus on promoting sustainable community development initiatives to ensure the well-being of community members.
2.Social Dimension: The municipality has established policies to guide sustainable development practices and implemented robust monitoring mechanisms to evaluate community development outcomes.
3.Environmental Dimension: The municipality actively supports community environmental development, fosters strong collaborative networks for sustainable environmental management, and has established systems and mechanisms to continuously enhance community and citizen capacity.
4.Good Governance: The organization is managed based on the principles of good governance, which include: 1) Participation: All stakeholders are involved in the decision-making process. 2) Transparency: Information is disseminated to the public in a comprehensive manner. 3) Rule of Law: Leaders uphold the law and ensure its equitable application. 4) Ethics: Leaders demonstrate high ethical standards in their work. 5) Accountability: There is a strong emphasis on public service, honesty, and sufficiency among the organization's members. 6) In terms of cost-effectiveness, resources are utilized efficiently and effectively. This is evident in five areas, including Buddhist-based sustainability, which promotes community members' appreciation and awareness of local cultural values.
