GUIDELINES FOR DEVELOPING SERVANT LEADERSHIP AMONG SONGKAE TECHNICAL COLLEGE STUDENTS WHO PRACTICE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN WORKPLACES

Abstract
This research aims to 1) assess the needs, 2) develop and validate guidelines, and 3) pilot and evaluate service-oriented leadership development approaches. The research is conducted in three steps: step 1: Needs assessment. The data was collected from 129 participants including administrators, teachers, entrepreneurs, and students. A needs assessment questionnaire was used as a research instrument. The data was analyzed using the PNI method. Step 2: Develop and Validate Guidelines. Data providers consisted of 7 experts. A questionnaire was used as a research instrument. Data analysis employed mean and standard deviation. Step 3: Experimentation and evaluation of the approach using action research, and assessment based on Kirkpatrick's model. The data was provided by 86 students. Research instruments included manuals, tests, evaluation forms, and reflective notes. Data analysis employed mean, standard deviation, t-test, and content analysis. Research findings indicate that, when ranked from highest to lowest, the assessed needs are as follows: 1) service, 2) honesty, 3) humility, 4) sacrifice, and 5) empowerment. The results of the guideline development and validation showed that the developed guidelines consisted of 1) core concepts, 2) objectives, 3) content, 4) activity implementation guidelines, 5) media/learning resources, and 6) evaluation.The validation results indicated that the guidelines were highly appropriate. 3. Results of the Implementation and Evaluation of the Approach Found That: 3.1 Experimental Use Through Action Research as Follows:
1) Planning: Team meeting, activity determination 2) Conducted 3 practical training units, each lasting 12 hours, and PLC reflected on the results of the practical training for 6 hours 3) Observation and consultation 4) Reflection on the results of practical experience. 3.2 Evaluation results of the approach was found that ,1) the overall evaluation of satisfaction was at the highest level, and 2) the evaluation of learning, when compared after the training, was significantly higher than before the training at the .01 statistical level. 3) The behavioral assessment found that students successfully applied the knowledge, understanding, and skills gained from the manual-based development, demonstrating a service-oriented attitude and performing well in their internships, and 4) The evaluation findings indicated that the implemented strategy has had a profound positive impact on the college, administrators, teachers, and students, notably enhancing students' service-oriented leadership.
