Abstract

This research aims to 1) investigate the management of core activities of the Association of Future Professionals of Thailand (AFT) in large-scale educational institutions under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission in the northern region.  2) study management approaches for primary activities of the Association of Future Professionals of Thailand in large-scale educational institutions under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission in the northern region.  The study population comprises 24 school principals, 24 deputy principals for student affairs, 24 student activity leaders, and 24 AFT advisors, amounting to a total of 96 participants. The research instruments included a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire on the management of core activities in the Association of Future Professionals of Thailand in large-scale vocational institutions under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission in the northern region, as well as focus group discussion transcripts. Data were analyzed using basic statistics including percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.


Research findings indicate that


1) Overall, the management of core activities of the Future Professionals Association of Thailand in large-scale educational institutions under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission in the northern region is at a very high level. The planning aspect has the highest average score, followed by the operational aspect, and finally, the evaluation and reporting aspect.


2) The management of core activities of the Future Professionals Association of Thailand in large-scale educational institutions under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission in the northern region involves 11 strategies: 4 for planning, 4 for operations, and 3 for evaluation and reporting.
