Interactive Video Production for Enhancing Handicraft Skills in Occupation Course of Prathomsuksa IV Students

Abstract

         The research objectives were to develop interactive video media, promote handicraft skills in occupation courses at Prathomsuksa 4 level, and study the results of using media and students' satisfaction on the media created by the researcher. The experiment was conducted on the population of 281 prathomsuksa four students of the academic year 2018 at Kasetsart University Laboratory School Center for Educational Research and Development. Interactive video media on practice handicraft skills, handicraft skills evaluation form, and satisfaction questionnaire on this media were used as the research tools. The data was collected and analyzed by considering the level of students’ handicraft skills from observing the population’s learning behavior including the questionings done on students’ satisfaction, using the arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The research results found that interactive video media for enhancing handicraft skills in the occupation course of prathomsuksa four students which the researcher had developed were able to increase students’ handicraft skills that help them to surpass the assessment criteria in all objectives. Students had developed good handicraft skill, were able to work on their own, and had highest level of satisfaction with the interactive video media.
