บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างแรงจูงใจในการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุ ความรู้พัฒนาการผู้สูงอายุ และการสนับสนุนทางสังคมกับพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุของผู้ใหญ่วัยทำงาน และเพื่อทำนายพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุของผู้ใหญ่วัยทำงาน โดยใช้แรงจูงใจในการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุ ความรู้พัฒนาการผู้สูงอายุ และการสนับสนุนทางสังคม ทำการตรวจสอบคุณภาพแบบวัดทุกฉบับด้วยการหาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคะแนนรายข้อกับคะแนนรวม (Item-total correlation) โดยใช้การคัดเลือกเป็นข้อคำถามที่มีค่าตั้งแต่ .02 ขึ้นไปมาใช้ในการวิจัย กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ใหญ่วัยทำงาน จำนวน 469 คน ใช้วิธีการสุ่มแบบชั้นภูมิ โดยแบ่งเป็นเพศและสถานภาพสมรส สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ การวิเคราะห์ค่าสหสัมพันธ์ และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) แรงจูงใจในการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุ และการสนับสนุนทางสังคม
มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 ส่วนความรู้พัฒนาการมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 และ (2) แรงจูงใจในการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุ ความรู้พัฒนาการผู้สูงอายุ และการสนับสนุนทางสังคม ร่วมกันทำนายพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุได้ ร้อยละ 56.3 โดยตัวแปรที่สามารถทำนายพฤติกรรมการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุโดยรวมเป็นอันดับแรก คือ การสนับสนุนทางสังคม อันดับที่สองรองลงมาคือ แรงจูงใจในการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุ
