บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้เสนอผลการทดลองเพื่อศึกษาว่าอิทธิพลของความคุ้นเคยเชิงศัพท์มีผลต่อการรับรู้เสียงพยัญชนะกักเสียดแทรก [ts] ในภาษาญี่ปุ่นต่อผู้เรียนชาวไทยหรือไม่ ผลการวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นว่าความคุ้นเคยเชิงศัพท์มีผลต่อการรับรู้เสียงพยัญชนะกักเสียดแทรก [ts] ผู้เรียนชาวไทยสามารถรับรู้เสียงพยัญชนะดังกล่าวได้ดีในคำศัพท์ที่คุ้นเคยมากกว่าคำศัพท์ที่ไม่คุ้นเคยหรือคำศัพท์ที่ไม่มีความหมาย นอกจากนี้ ผู้เรียนชาวไทยชั้นต้นและชั้นกลางมีความสามารถในการรับรู้เสียงพยัญชนะดังกล่าวไม่ต่างกัน ถึงแม้ระยะเวลาการเรียนภาษาญี่ปุ่นจะนานกว่าก็ตามไม่ทำให้ความสามารถในการรับรู้เสียงพยัญชนะกักเสียดแทรกของผู้เรียนชั้นกลางดีกว่าผู้เรียนชั้นต้นงานวิจัยนี้ยังได้เสนอผลซึ่งเกี่ยวข้องกับทฤษฎีในการเรียนรู้ภาษาที่สองและการนำประโยชน์ของผลวิจัยเพื่อนำไปใช้ปรับปรุงการเรียนการสอนเสียงภาษาญี่ปุ่น
