บทคัดย่อ
บทความทางวิชาการชิ้นนี้มุ่งเน้นอธิบายการเปลี่ยนแปลงมโนทัศน์ในเชิงแนวคิดทฤษฎีเกี่ยวกับผู้สูงอายุ ในบริบทของการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรม ที่สะท้อนให้เห็นการเชื่อมโยงและการบรรจบกันระหว่างมิติทางจิตวิญญาณของผู้สูงอายุที่มีรากฐานจากชุมชนทางสังคมวัฒนธรรม ยึดโยงกับความเชื่อในมิติทางจิตวิญญาณ กับบริบททางสังคมสมัยใหม่ที่วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี โดยเฉพาะเทคโนโลยี ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) ได้เข้ามามีบทบาทในชีวิตประจำวันของผู้สูงอายุ ที่มีสถานะเสมือนสิ่งเหนือธรรมชาติในโลกสมัยใหม่ที่เป็นผู้ช่วยของมนุษย์ สิ่งเหนือธรรมชาติที่มีการเปลี่ยนสถานะจากการมีอำนาจควบคุมเหนือมนุษย์ มาสู่ยุคสมัยที่เทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์เข้ามามีบทบาทในฐานะผู้ช่วย รวมทั้งเข้ามามีอิทธิพลต่อเรื่องชีวิตและสุขภาพของผู้คนมากขึ้น ภายใต้วัฒนธรรมสมัยใหม่ที่เปิดพื้นที่ในการเรียนรู้และเข้าถึงเทคโนโลยีของผู้สูงอายุ ท่ามกลางข้อถกเถียงสำคัญคือการดูแลผู้สูงอายุโดย AI อาจเป็นการการลดทอนสายสัมพันธ์แห่งบรรพชนและความสัมพันธ์ของระบบครอบครัว และเป็นการลดทอนมิติทางจิตวิญญาณและร่างกายของผู้สูงวัยให้กลายเป็นข้อมูลที่ใช้วิเคราะห์การเสื่อมถอยเพื่อการดูแล ผู้เขียนจึงต้องการทบทวนความรู้เกี่ยวกับมานุษยวิทยาว่าด้วยความสูงวัยเพื่อเผยให้เห็นการเคลื่อนตัวของความคิดจากสิ่งเหนือธรรมชาติสู่เทคโนโลยี AI ที่เชื่อมโยงกับผู้สูงวัย โดยใช้ตัวอย่างปรากฏการณ์ทางสังคมวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัยทั้งในสังคมไทยและต่างประเทศที่น่าสนใจ
