Abstract

The research aims to study opinions and suggestions regarding the participation of civil society and stakeholders in education management according to the draft National Education Act B.E. ... The sample size for the research was determined using a multi-stage random sampling method, starting with simple random sampling, resulting in a total sample size of 593 peoples. The samples were further selected using stratified and systematic random sampling methods, representing civil society and educational stakeholders in Songkhla and Phatthalung provinces. A questionnaire was used as the research instrument, and the data analysis statistics included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as content analysis. The research findings revealed that the overall level of opinion on the participation of civil society and stakeholders in education management according to the draft National Education Act B.E. ... in Songkhla province was at a high level ( equation = 4.14, SD = 0.56), and in Phatthalung province, it was also at a high level ( equation = 4.10, SD = 0.74). Therefore,
the design of area-based education management should be systematic, following a clear decentralization approach to education management, supporting the creation of mechanisms for diverse participation in decision-making by civil society and stakeholders.
