Abstract

This research aimed to develop Webquest English lesson to enhance English reading comprehension with Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) technique, to compare the students’ English reading comprehension competence before and after using Webquest with Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) technique, and to study their satisfaction on English reading comprehension with Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) technique.
           This study was conducted with 23 Mathayomsuksa III students of Banbangyee School, Chumphon for 22 hours in the second semester of the 2016 academic year. The research tools were lesson plans, pre-test and post-test and a questionnaire on students’ satisfaction. The statistics applied in the study were mean, standard deviation, percentage and t-test for dependent.


The research results indicated that English reading comprehension competence after using Webquest with Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) technique was significantly higher than before at the .05 level. The efficiency level with the criteria was at 80/80. Moreover, the students’ satisfaction on English reading comprehension with Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) technique was at the high level.
