Abstract

This study aims to explore the current state, trends in change management, transformational leadership, and future service innovations for the survival of the hotel business. It also presents a model for the survival of hotel businesses in the southern provinces along the Andaman coast. The research tool is a structured interview to collect data. The key informants were 19 representatives of Thai entrepreneurs and government or private sector representatives and the results were analyzed using the Delphi technique.
The results found that the current state of the hotel business in the southern provinces on the Andaman coast has plans to support more services for Thai tourists. It also focuses on providing natural services and pays more attention to safety measures during pandemics. It was also found that an important transformational leadership must be a leader who has the characteristics of being inspirational, considers individual uniqueness, aims to stimulate intellectually, and has an ideological influence. In addition, the survival model of the hotel business in the southern Andaman provinces should include three important elements: competitiveness, adaptability, and efficiency of the organization.
