Adaptation of Small and Medium Enterprises: Case Study of Pak Phanang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to study the adaptation of small and medium enterprises and to study factors affecting the adaptation of small and medium enterprises. Data were collected using questionnaires. The sample group consisted of small and medium-sized enterprise operators by using a quota sampling process of 250 samples. Statistics for data analysis were mean, percentage, standard deviation, and multiple regression. The study found that an overview of the adaptation moderates the most adapted small and medium enterprises being in manufacturing, followed by service, and trades had the least adjustment. All businesses had the most adaptation in terms of distribution channels, followed by products, costs, and marketing promotions, respectively. Factors affecting the adaptation of small and medium enterprises were gender, age, education level, type of business, processing time, and the number of workers. There is a statistical significance level of 0.05.
