The Study of English Learning Materials using Canva Application Technology

Abstract

     This research aims to investigate the use of Canva application technology in English learning materials and assess students' satisfaction with the English learning materials created using this technology. There was a sample group of 27 people who were selected by a purposive sampling method using a satisfaction questionnaire tool to collect data and analyze the study results with statistics of percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
     The research results found that studying English learning media for students using the Canva application technology helped students learn listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills more effectively and interestingly. They can apply English language skills in all aspects and in line with 21st-century learning management competencies, which students can learn by themselves. There is a creative, hands-on, and learning process in evaluating satisfaction with English language teaching materials using the Canva application. The overall satisfaction of students with English language teaching media using the Canva application technology was at the highest level. Considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect of media use was most satisfactory, followed by the aspects of teaching media, efficiency, teachers, and content, respectively.
