Community Participatory Development on Tourism Program and Creative Activities under Green Map Conception at BanPong, Sansai, Chiangmai

Abstract
This is a study on community participatory development on tourism program and creative
activities under green map concept at BanPong, Sansai, Chiang Mai. The purposes of the study
were to 1) collect data on community tourism resources for developing creative activities under
green map, 2) study the level of participation and attitudes of the community in tourism programs and creative activities development 3) study a learning process model of the development of tour programs and creative activities under green map. The scope of the study was BanPong, Sansai, Chiang Mai by using purposive sampling. The data collecting tools were; questionnaire, focus group discussion, skill testing program and participant observation. Data collection processes were included; synthesis of existing resources and analyze about problems and possibilities, survey for development planning, action, monitoring and evaluation. The community synthesized the existing resources to contribute tourism programs and creative activities planning under green map. There were 2 programs which contributed; nature tour program and culture tour program. The attitude of tourists (volunteers) to tourism programs and creative activities was a high score. The level of community participation was high level. The attitude of community to the program process was very good. Model of community learning process are; 1) process is that community is using participatory action research (PAR) to contribute awareness of their own resources 2) output is a participatory process 3) outcome is that community take into account to environment, social, culture and traditional knowledge, and also aware of existing resources in the community.
