The Results of the Development of the Integrated Learning Management Plans for the Subject of Thinking Skills for Early Childhood Children with Surin Local Arts and Culture to Enhance 21st Century Learning Skills and Academic Achievement for Students of the Faculty of Education of Surin Rajabhat University

Abstract

This study aimed to 1) develop an integrated learning management plans between teaching the subject of thinking skills for early childhood and Surin local arts and culture to enhance 21st century learning skills and learning achievement, and 2) evaluate the 21st century learning skills and learning achievement of students who learned from the developed learning management plans. The target group was 58 third-year early childhood education students who studied the subject of thinking skills for early childhood, Faculty of Education, Surin Rajabhat University, academic year 2023, who were selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments consisted of six learning management plans, 21st century learning skills assessment forms, and learning achievement test forms. Data were collected using a quasi-experimental research with a single group pre-test and post-test design. Data were analyzed using percentages, means, and standard deviations, and paired t-tests. The results of the study found that there were 6 learning management plans that were highly appropriate and had an efficiency of 80.12/80.42. The developed learning management plans could be used to enhance learners’ 21st century learning skills and learning achievement after learning, which was significantly higher than before learning at a statistical level of 0.01
