Voluntary Commitment of Village Health Volunteers Phaisali District, Nakhon Sawan Province

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the level of voluntary commitment of village health volunteers in Phisali district and to study the factors which are related to voluntary commitment. The research was a cross-sectional study and the participants were consisted of 326 village health volunteers in Phaisali district, Nakhon- Sawan province. Research tool was a questionnaire and statistic used were frequency, percentage, Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient and Chi-square. The results of this study found that the level of voluntary commitment was moderately. The study also found the significance of relationships between voluntary commitment of village health volunteers and following factors; job characteristic, motivation and social support.
