The Evaluation of Effectiveness for Academic Service, Master of Research Methodology for Development Program, Faculty of Education, Yala Rajabhat University

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to evaluate of effectiveness of academic service activities of the master of research methodology for development program, Faculty of Education, Yala Rajabhat University was evaluated using Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model. The target group consisted of participants of academic service activities and supervisors of participants. The research included a satisfaction questionnaire, a test of knowledge, a questionnaire and interview form. The data were analyzed using percentage, descriptive statistics and content analysis. The results revealed that the participants’ satisfaction toward academic services were at the high level. The participants’ achievement after attended to the programs their knowledge/academic was gained. The participants’ behavior pointed out that the activity 1 was the most useful knowledge in their studies and research. Otherwise, the activity 2 the participants can apply the knowledge into the research methodology included research problems, classroom research titles. They also able to transferring the knowledge on the research analysis and research report writing to the other persons. For the effects on the organization, the participants who were mostly affected by the academic services program are the teachers and staff at the schools in Pattani, Yala and Narathiwas provinces. Most of them gained their academic knowledge, were able to apply the knowledge into the classroom related with either the learning problems analysis or the way to solve the learning problems of the learners.
