Causal Factors Affecting of Classroom Research Skills of Pre-service Teachers at Faculty of Education, Prince of Songkla University Pattani Campus

Abstract
Conducting classroom research is a skill that must be developed through knowledge and understanding, as well as practicing to become skilled. It was interesting to see what factors will influence the above skills. The objective of this research was determined causal factors affecting of classroom research skills of pre-service teachers at the Faculty of Education, Prince of Songkla University Pattani Campus. The samples were 165 pre-service teachers and data was collected using online questionnaire consisted of 3 parts: general information, classroom research skills self-evaluation, and the factors that influenced classroom research skills were knowledge, attitude, curriculum quality, motivation, mentor role and supervisor. Hypotheses testing of the structural equation model using PLS-SEM. The results show that the hypotheses support statistically significant at the level of .01 only 3 hypotheses were: The quality of the university curriculum has a positive influence on the classroom research skills, and attitude towards the classroom research, and the role of mentors and supervisors have an influence on motivation to do classroom research. The results of the analysis of Importance-Performance Matrix also showed that all 5 latent variables resulted in the efficiency level higher than 65 percent.
