The Development of a Learning Management Model to Promote Reconciliation in Multicultural Society in being Professional Teachers Course, Bachelor of Education Student at Hatyai University

Abstract

The aims of this research were to: develop and study the achievement in using the management model to promote reconciliation in multicultural society in being professional teacher course for Bachelor of education student at Hatyai university, The research sample consisted of 60 students in the 1/2017 semester. The sample was acquired by cluster random sampling. The instruments used in this study were: lesson plan to promote reconciliation in Multicultural Society, evaluation form of reconciliation, the achievement test and the attitude test on the teaching style.  The statistics used were mean, standard deviation and t-test. The findings found that, the learning management model comprised of five major components: principles of the model, objectives of the model, teaching process, the content of the learning, and measurement and evaluation. Evaluation results were at the most appropriate level. The results of using the learning management model to promote reconciliation in multicultural society were found: the achievement of experimental students in the multicultural society were at a good level. The experimental group had higher learning achievement after learning management than before learning. Statistically significant at the .05 level. The experimental group had learning achievement in professional teaching course higher than normal students.
