The Development of Malay Lessons for Travelers in Thai-MOOC of Malay Language for Communication Course, Yala Rajabhat University

Abstract
Technological advancements in the present era have resulted in the transformation of the education system in the 21st century, leading to the creation of more online education models. The objectives of this research were to develop Malay language lessons for travelers in Thai-MOOC online lessons to be an effective criterion of 80/80 and to study the results of using it to assess learning with one group pretest and posttest control group designs. The samples were 171 students enrolled in Malay language for communication course in the first semester of academic year 2020. SPSS program was utilized for data analysis of lesson achievement with statistics for average and t-test. The research results showed that the overall Malay language content quality assessment was at a good level ( = 4.29). The overall evaluation of the quality of media production technique was at a very good level (
= 5.00), and the lessons also were effective as the value of 80.06/80.53 which was in accordance with the criteria. In addition, it was found that achievement was higher that prior with statistical significance at the .05. The results indicated that the Malay language lessons for travelers in the Thai-MOOC open online lessons were likely to be another effective learning tool and it could serve as a supplementary medium for teaching Malay for basic communication. It showed that Thai-MOOC open online lessons could be a part of online teaching and would be important in teaching and learning in the digital age as a life-long learning source.
