Knowledge Management by Collecting Knowledge and Transferring Knowledge of Upgrading of the Yarang Velvet Tamarind Products by the Ton Yee Conservation Group, Ban Pula Tayokho, Pattani Province

Abstract
This research aims to study the knowledge management situation regarding the collecting and transferring knowledge for upgrading Yarang Velvet Tamarind products by the Ton Yee Conservation Group in Ban Pula Tayokho, Pattani Province. Data was collected through in-depth interviews using a semi-structured interview approach with 7 key informants selected from who’s based on their experience working with the Ton Yee conservation group. The data was analyzed using content analysis. The study found that: 1) Knowledge collection for knowledge management consists of 4 key aspects: 1) Sources of knowledge 2) Methods of data collection 3) Content of the collected knowledge 4) Organization and storage of knowledge. 2) Knowledge transferring involves 7 aspects: 1) Objectives of knowledge transferring 2) Knowledge being transferred 3) Sources of knowledge 4) Knowledge recipients 5) Knowledge transmitters and participants in transfer 6) Methods of transmission and 7) Knowledge transfer results. Knowledge management has enabled youth, people and group members get to learned and understand the value of local wisdom passed down through generations in community. They have the opportunity to practice and develop skills related to the wisdom of the community, they have learned and understood their roots and are proud of the culture of the community. Additionally, understand the principles and techniques of online sales. More people and group members can use social media to sell online. Increase product distribution channels, make Yarang Velvet Tamarind products sell better, and create knowledge sharing and skill development together.
