The Effects Of High Scope Learning Experiences With Educational Games On Basic Thinking Skills For Early Childhood

Abstract

The objective of this research were: 1) to comparison of basic thinking in order to increase High Scope learning skills for preschool children by before and after studying and 2) to study the satisfaction of preschool children towards the developed of Basic Thinking Skills by using A High Scope Learning Experience learning.The samples obtained through cluster random sampling, were 30 preschool children's studying at the kindergarten level 2 in the second semester of 2022 academic year at Ban Na Piang Noi Na Somboon School. The research instruments included: 1) lesson plans of learning experiences integrating High Scope concept and educational games, 2) educational games for developing basic thinking skills, 3) an assessment form concerning basic thinking skills, and 4) The satisfaction questionnaire of of preschool children towards the developed of Basic Thinking Skills. It has 3-levels estimation scale. The data was analyzed by finding percentage, mean standard deviation and t-test dependent samples.

The results showed that; 1. Basic thinking skills of the early childhood after learning through the developed learning experiences were higher than those of before with significant different at .01 level. 2. The satisfaction of the early childhood toward the developed learning experiences was at a high level
