Study of Learning Outcomes in Specific Required Courses on Buddhism, Mahamakut Buddhist University, Mahapachapati Buddhist College

Abstract
The purpose of this research article was to 1) investigate the students’ learning outcomes in all specific required courses on Buddhism, 2) to compare the student’s learning outcomes in 10 specific required courses on Buddhism to the standard assessment criteria level 3.00 and 3) to study the attitude of the students, who enrolled in the specific required courses on Buddhism, towards Buddhism. It was a survey research using the grade result (3.00) from the specific courses on Buddhism and the attitude test on Buddhism as research instruments. 41 students enrolled in specific required courses on Buddhism were the target group. Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test were used in the analysis. The finding indicated that the students’ learning outcomes in specific required courses on Buddhism was in a good level. The students’ learning outcomes in all courses was higher than the good assessment criteria (= 3.00) with statically significance at 0.01 which conformed to the hypothesis—the students had good attitude towards Buddhism.
