Language and Culture: Its Meaning, Importance, and Relation

Abstract

Language is a system of sounds and alphabets that human created for making communication successful. Listener and Reader are needed to learn the system and its meanings as same as Speaker and Writer in order that they can understand each other under the same system. Moreover, they need to learn more on a culture of the language usage that we call the language context because it helps the language users correctly interpret deep meaning of the language. Besides, the language is also the culture as itself because it reflects the world views of language users and they have inherited the language from one generation to another one for a long time.
