The Effects of Learning Package Kits, The Floor Games, To Promote the Safety for Young Children

Abstract

          The purpose of this study was to study the effects of learning package kits to promote the safety for young children. The target group included 5 young children who were studying in K2, 2^nd semester, academic years of 2021 at Watpotinimit School, Bangkok, and their 5 parents who were related and responsible taking care of the target group. The instruments of this study were (1) learning package kits to promote the safety for young children. (2) behavioral observation form of young children using the learning package kits to promote the safety for young children.  (3) an assessment form of safety literacy for early childhood. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation and content analysis. The findings indicated that after using the learning package kits to promote safety for young children, the children had higher safety literacy than before using the learning package kits. The aspect that the children had the highest average score, was the aspect of danger avoidance.  The result from the observation form indicated that the floor game learning package kits promoted the safety literacy. They behaved more safely while doing daily activities, and could take care of things in an environment where they live safely.
