Model of Relationship Between Family Business Supervision Corporate Culture Social Responsibility with The Characteristics of Entrepreneurs in Family Businesses and Business Performance

Abstract

          The purpose of this research are (1) to study the causal factors, namely; family business supervision corporate culture social responsibility (2) to study the influence of characteristics of family business entrepreneurs on family business performance directly. as well as studying the indirect influence of family business supervision corporate culture social responsibility and organizational culture that is passed down on the characteristics of family business operators to family business performance; and (3) to suggest ways to improve operations family business management. This is survey research which mixed method both qualitative research and qualitative research. Use interviews and questionnaires as a research tool. Data were collected from the in-depth interview and using content analysis methods to confirm the results obtained from quantitative research. quantitative data analysis by Structural Equation Modeling: SEM


          The research results showed that (1) Family business supervision has an indirect effect on business performance through entrepreneurial characteristics. at the significance level .01 (2) Organizational culture affects characteristics of entrepreneurs in family businesses. at the significance level .05 (3) Organizational culture has an indirect effect on business performance through entrepreneurial characteristics. at the significance level .01 (4) Social responsibility affects characteristics of entrepreneurs in family businesses. at the significance level .01 (5) Social responsibility has an indirect effect on business performance through entrepreneurial characteristics. at the significance level .01 (6) Characteristics of entrepreneurs in family businesses affect business performance. at the significance level .01
