Abstract

The research study entitled “An Analysis of Educational Philosophy of Buddhist Way School: Kankerao Pittayakom School, Non Sung District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.” The research objectives are: 1) to study the educational philosophy of Buddhist Way School, Kankerao Pittayakom School, Non Sung District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province; 2) to study Buddhist principles for children and youth in Buddhist Way Schools; and 3) to analyze the educational philosophy of Buddhist Way School, Kankerao Pittayakom School, NonSung District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. This is documentary research.


          The research results revealed that:


          1) Educational Philosophy of Buddhist Way School, Kankerao Pittayakom School, Non Sung District, Nakhon Ratchasima ProvinceKankerao Pittayakom School, under the Office of the Basic Education Commission, the Ministry of Education officially established the Buddhist Way School project, aimed at developing learners to become good people with wisdom, happiness, and potential for further education and career pursuits, as well as the ability to live happily. Buddhist Principles for Children and Youth in Buddhist Way Schools.


          2) The core Buddhist principles are the Trisikkha (Three Trainings): Sila (moral conduct), Samadhi (mental concentration), and Panna (wisdom). The educational process of Trisikkha includes Sammaditthi (right view), Paratoghosha (learning from others), and Yonisomanasikara (wise attention), which constitute an integrated process for holistic human development.


          3) Analysis of Educational Philosophy of Buddhist Way School, the school adheres to the Trisikkha – Sila (moral conduct), Samadhi (mental concentration), and Panna (wisdom) – as guidelines for developing learners into complete human beings. Concerning educational management methods, the school employs various approaches such as integrating dharma principles into teaching and learning across all subjects, creating teaching media and innovations with Buddhist dharma content, organizing learner development activities that promote practice according to Trisikkha principles, and creating an atmosphere of spiritual friendship (kalyanamitra). Regarding educational management goals, the school aims to develop learners into complete human beings in terms of body, mind, intellect, knowledge.
