USING TRAP OF VASSAKARA BRAHMA IN BUDDHISM AND HUANG GAI IN ROMANCE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS IN ACCORDANCE WITH BUDDHIST TEACHING; THREE PROFICIENCIES (KOSALLA)

Abstract

              The objective of this article is to examine the use of trap of Vassakara Brahma in Buddhism and Huang Gai in Romance of the Three Kingdoms in accordance with the three proficiencies (Kosalla) which is the Buddhist principle. The result of the study has found that the using of both the trap of and Vassakara Brahma and Huang Gai is organized in three proficiencies; 1. (aya-kosalla) The proficiency as to gain or progress, Vassakara Brahma and Huang Gai can utilize ones own knowledge to solve the problems to their kingdom 2. (Apaya-kosalla) The proficiency as to loss or regress, for Cáo Cao and Vaishali are destroyed by the knowledge and using the trap of Huang Gai and Vassakara Brahma. However, proficiency is not useful to Cáo Cao and Vaishali 3. (Upaya-kosalla) The proficiency is used as a means and method to fix the problems. Huang Gai and Vassakara Brahma change the crisis as chance. For this method, we’ve found that they are talented at using trap solving the problems namely analyzing what the problem is? What is the source of the problem? And what is the way to solve the problem. This critical thinking of Huang Gai and Vassakara Brahma made using the trap successful.
