Abstract
From ancient times to the present, Thai society has evolved a way of life that prioritizes economic growth and embraces western principles to be applied in a range of lifestyles, causing Thai society to circulate in the direction of rapid globalization. Therefore, the unconsidered acceptance of foreign cultures results in children and young people in the country lacking good morals and ethics. According to Buddhist theories like Phrarajadhammalangkarn (Chan Katapunyo), monks actively contribute to the social, physical, and mental growth of communities and societies so that people can live securely and safely. He is a character who contributes to social development with the intention of focusing on social development in accordance with the Principles of Sappurisadhammas 7, (the qualities of a good man or virtues or gentlemen) namely, knowing causes, knowing results, knowing oneself, knowing moderation, knowing time, knowing the community, and knowing the person to apply to solve societal and communal problems. It is a method of resolving economic issues based on sufficiency and enhancing the social harmony of "people" or "groups" at the center of development by fusing it with Buddhist teaching techniques to increase the development potential of the entire society in terms of morality, ethics, and the education of monks and novices as well as Buddhists in general.
