POWER RELATIONS NETWORK OF LOCAL POLITICAINS AND NATIONAL POLITICIANS IN CHAIYAPHUM PROVINCE: ANALYSIS OF POLITICAL ECONOMY

Abstract

               The research objectives of political economy analysis regarding relations network power of local politicians and national politicans in Chaiyaphum Province are: 1. To study the formation of power network local politicians and national politicans in Chaiyaphum Province. 2. To study the extension of the national and local power network in Chaiyaphum Province. 3. To study the treatment and inheritance of power networks at the national and local levels in Chaiyaphum Province. Scope of research studied since the change of government by changing from the provincial government to governing central provincial and local area in 1933–2019. Conducted research in all areas of 16 Districts, Chaiyaphum Province by qualitative research. The result of research shows that formation involves local politicians and national politicians which have the same or/and similar political ideology related to various interests including reciprocal benefits. Funds are used to form the authority network through the election canvasser related to culture, including local popularity and northeast popularity, connecting economic and social systems through patronage system to people. Which is in line authority network concept Manuel power network construction Manuel Castells, in which the clearly states that power in social network shows itself through network group. The power of various social actors including various organizations, the same goal come together to establish and due to networking of the various shows taking place in context of technology and globalization society or connect power network together. The expanding national and local power networks levels in Chaiyaphum Province has link between national politicians and local politicians. The expanding of authority network is due to the common political ideology, including reciprocal benefits, which are money and other forms of benefits also related to the local culture popularity, and the changing economic social conditions too . About preservation and inheritance of authority networks at national and local levels the national politicians will maintain and inherit some authority networks through local politicians with common political ideology. The authority network connection with local culture, Isan, economic conditions and society that changes through patronage system, and election canvasser also directly affect people in Chaiyaphum Province. The formation of authority network comes from localism or Isanism that proud of being an Isan people in unique language, culture and long traditions for a long time.
