SPECIALIZED SCHOOLS OF SCIENCE: A CASE STUDY IN THAILAND AND LAO PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC

Abstract

              This article aims to show the comparison educational management of specialized science schools in Thailand and The Lao People's Democratic Republic. Descriptive study from documents academic article, research article as main resources. The study was done by analyzing the content related to science-specific schools and compared between Thailand and the Lao People's Democratic Republic. It was found that there were similar and different issues in many areas of interest, namely: the status of the school levels offered admission, focus on focused subjects, and study days and times but the obvious difference is the subject of the teacher qualifications and scientific laboratory. The prominent differences are academic qualification of teachers and science laboratory facilities.
