Competition Potential of Thailand and Lao People's Democratic Republic in agricultural products affecting investment of investors, looking through the temporarily checkpoint of Ban Huak, Phu Sang District, Phayao Province

Abstract

The area of Phu Sang Sub-district has the connecting area with the Lao People's Democratic Republic in the east, trading using and consuming products and mutual communication. It has potential of commercial and investment competition. It can link to the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Southern China, and Vietnam. It is also the commercial door to the Indochina,, Ban Huak Sub-district. Most areas are valleys appropriate for agriculture. The villagers do agriculture for eating and use, not focusing on business and investment. Due to the landscape of mountain and limited area, the villagers in the area need to invest in planting agricultural products in the Lao People's Democratic Republic. The investments in the area are developing the logistic system to cover commerce and investment and supporting enhancement of agricultural product standard quality level, connecting commerce and investment with the neighboring country, developing potential of entrepreneurs to be available for the change in the Free Trade market system.
