The Role of the Monk’s in the forbidden city… Lampang with Entering the Asean Community

Abstract

 Year 2558 is the important year of Lampang province citizen has prepare themselves for   both economics and social changing from the country developments direction. The inner development : Lampang province has been desired to be one of the 12 city, the don’t missed city of the tourism and sport ministry. They hoped that the potential and the readiness in natural places, life style, arts and culture of these cities can link the tour route from the main city for support and revive the country ecomomy. And the Asean Economic Community desire to start the activities on December 31,2015. In the geography, Lampang Province was settle in the center of the upper north. Every important road linking Thailand and the Asean Economic Community members pass Lampang. The transportation of  huge people because of inner and international factors for economic development, goods changing, industry, education  and travelling lead to the changing of knowledge, idea, intelligent arts and cultures. Especially, more than 1,300 years of Lampang history and every inner route in Lampang city have “Temple”, the important place had shown the community intelligence. Such that the monks, who has the direct response position of the  “Temple” : religion places,  religion objects and culture activities of the community. The monks must be known ourselves and others. The monks must known, respect and present the story, meaning and value of these intelligence. And, the monks must learn the other culture of the visitor/tourist both thais and foreigners for the suitalble receptions.
