DEVELOPMENT OF HR POTENTIALITY MODEL FOR INDUSTRIAL BUSINESS IN THE AGE OF NEW NORMAL

Abstract

The Purposes of this research were: 1) to study the potential components of HR Professional for Industrial Business in the age of New Normal, 2) to develop a potential model of HR Professional for Industrial Business in the age of New Normal, and 3) to develop a potential development manual of HR Professional for Industrial Business in the age of New Normal. This study was integrated the method of qualitative and quantitative approaches. In-depth interview 10 experts and focus group discussion with 15 experts were used as qualitative tools, while questionnaires were used as quantitative ones. The participants were of HR Executive, HR Manager and HR Professional. The sample size were 421 persons. The qualitative data were analyzed by using content analysis, and the quantitative data analysis was done by using statistic, frequency, mean, percentage, standard deviation, and factor analysis.


    The research found that there were 12 essential components of the potential HR Professional for Industrial Business in the age of New Normal. The results that derived from the exploratory factor analysis were used to create the model of potential of HR Professional for Industrial Business in the age of New Normal, discussed in the focus group, and confirmed that the components of the potential of HR Professional for Industrial Business in the age of New Normal were composed of 12 essential components in 3 essential dimensions. The first dimension was characteristic of HR Professional for Industrial Business in the age of New Normal composed of 4 components which were 1) Leadership, 2) Adaptability, 3) Business Acumen, and 4) Ethics. The second dimension was technology and work improvement of HR Professional for Industrial Business in the age of New Normal composed of 3 components which were 1) HR Technology, 2) System and Service Model, and 3) Continuous Work Improvement, The third dimension was Human Resource Management of HR Professional for Industrial Business in the age of New Normal composed of 5 components which were 1) Performance Management System and Rewarding, 2) Learning and Development, 3) Employee Engagement, 4) Strategic Human Resource, and 5) Recruitment and Employment. Based on the research findings, the results obtained were used to create the potential development manual of HR Professional for Industrial Business in the age of New Normal. The manual of HR Professional potential development for Industrial Business in the age of New Normal was evaluated by experts 5 persons as being most suitable and able to be applied.
