PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN LOCAL ADMINISTRATION OF THASAO SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION, KRATHUM BAEN DISTRICT, SAMUT SAKHON PROVINCE

Abstract
This study used quantitative research methods. The Thasao Subdistrict Administrative organization in the Krathum Baen District of Samutsakhon Province was the study area. According to Taro Yamane's calculation technique, 390 individuals who were at least 18 years old and resided in the Thasao Subdistrict Administrative organization, Krathum Baen District, Samutsakhon Province, made up the sample. The questionnaire was the research instrument. Standard deviations, averages, and percentages were used to analyze the data. The study's findings revealed that:
1.The majority of the residents involved in the local government of the Thasao Subdistrict Administrative organization, Krathum Baen District, Samutsakhon Province, were female, aged 41 and above, and had completed just elementary school. Living in the community for 41 years or more, earning no more than 5,000 baht a year, and working as a farmer are prerequisites.
2.The public was involved in all four areas of local administration including decision-making, management planning, and getting management benefits at the Thasao Subdistrict Administrative organization in Krathum Baen District, Samutsakhon Province. Furthermore, it was discovered that there was little public engagement in any of the four monitoring and evaluation components.
