GUIDELINES FOR LABOR PROTECTION AND WELFARE OF PRIVATE TRANSPORT EMPLOYEES IN PATTANI PROVINCE
Main Article Content
Abstract
The goal of this study is to develop recommendations for the welfare and protection of private goods logisticians in the province of Pattani. In-depth interviews and focus groups were used to collect information about the welfare and protection of private goods logistic workers in Pattani Province. 42 people made up the main data group, which was chosen by purposeful sampling. The study findings were then examined and categorized using a qualitative approach of data analysis.
According to study findings, the majority of workers in the southern border provinces who work for private transport businesses have reasonable welfare needs. The majority of businesses merely offer the legal minimum labor benefits, such as social security and overtime compensation. In order to motivate workers to meet the company's goals, a proposal for labor protection and welfare management for private transport employees in Pattani Province calls for providing welfare above and beyond the law. Examples of this include monthly bonuses and total monthly diligence allowances that help employees stay motivated at work.
