Abstract

This research aims to: 1. Study opinions regarding the standard level of Bo Kluea Nan mountain salt products by the Nan Provincial Commerce Office. 2. Compare public opinions on upgrading the standards of Bo Kluea Nan mountain salt products by the Nan Provincial Commerce Office, categorized by individual factors. 3. Study approaches to upgrading the standards of Bo Kluea Nan mountain salt products to improve people's quality of life based on Buddhist principles, as conducted by the Nan Provincial Commerce Office.


This research employed a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative research methods. The population and sample for this study consisted of 150 residents in Bo Luang Village, Section 1, Bo Klua Tai Subdistrict, Bo Klua District, Nan Province. Data was analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) for independent variables with three or more groups. Comparing means pairwise using the least significant difference approach will be done when differences are discovered. In-depth interviews with nine important informants will be carried out for qualitative research. In order to bolster the quantitative data, thematic analysis will be employed, and the results will be presented in an essay format along with frequency tables of important informants.


The research found that:


1.The overall level of perception of the product standards for Bo Kluea Nan mountain salt, according to the concept of Dr. Janpen Chumsang and colleagues, was at the highest level.


2.The overall level of perception of the product standards for Bo Kluea Nan mountain salt, according to the four noble truths, was at the highest level.


3.A comparison of public opinions on the upgrading of Bo Kluea Nan mountain salt product standards by the Nan Provincial Commercial Office, categorized by individual factors such as gender, age, education level, occupation, and income.
