Abstract

This research article aims to design a database system that is suitable for storing information about clean water production system projects and to design a fault notification system along with displaying the operational status of the clean water production systems at the First Water Resources Office. The study adopts a qualitative research approach (Qualitative Research) utilizing the Design Thinking methodology. In-depth interviews and purposive sampling were employed, with a sample group consisting of 11 individuals, including executives, field staff from the First Water Resources Office, system maintenance staff, and clean water production system managers.

The research findings reveal that, based on data collected from the sample group, the researcher developed and created three forms to be used for data collection: 1) a form to record project details for the clean water production system, 2) a form to record data on the supervision and maintenance follow-up of the clean water production system project, and 3) a fault notification system displaying the operational status of the clean water production system. These forms contribute to enhanced data storage efficiency and fault reporting, establishing a more organized system, reducing operational errors, and ensuring high user satisfaction. Furthermore, a dashboard for clean water production system data was developed to allow executives to utilize this information for more effective operational planning. This leads to more efficient project management and maximizes the benefits for the Office of Water Resources Region 1.
