EVALUATION PERFORMANCE ACCORDING TO GOOD GOVERNANCE PRINCIPLES OF CHIANG RAK NOI SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, BANG PA-IN DISTRICT, PHRA NAKHON SI AYUTTHAYA PROVINCE

Abstract

This study aims to (1) investigate the level of governance implementation in Chiang Rak Noi Subdistrict Municipality, Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, and (2) compare the governance implementation of Chiang Rak Noi Subdistrict Municipality based on personal status. This research employs a quantitative approach, targeting residents of Chiang Rak Noi Subdistrict Municipality, Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, with a total population of 10,214 individuals. The sample size was determined using Taro Yamane’s formula, resulting in a sample of 390 participants. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis involved both descriptive statistics, including percentages, means, and standard deviations, as well as inferential statistics, such as t-tests, F-tests, one-way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA), and pairwise comparisons using Fisher’s Least Significant Difference (LSD) method, with a statistical significance level set at .05.


The research findings revealed that: (1) the overall implementation of good governance principles by the Chiang Rak Noi Subdistrict Municipality, Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province was at a high level, with a mean score of 3.85. When examining each dimension individually, all dimensions were also found to be at a high level. (2) A comparison of the implementation of good governance principles by the Chiang Rak Noi Subdistrict Municipality, Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, categorized by personal status including gender, education level, occupation, and income level, indicated that there was no statistically significant difference overall at the .05 level.
