FACTORS AFFECTING THE PERSONNEL PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY IN BANG KAPI DISTRICT OFFICE, BANGKOK METROPOLITAN

Abstract
This research aimed to (1) investigate the factors influencing the job performance of personnel at the Bang Kapi District Office, and (2) compare the factors affecting the job performance of personnel at the Bang Kapi District Office based on personal factors. This study employed a quantitative research methodology. The population consisted of 422 personnel at the Bang Kapi District Office. The sample group comprised 200 personnel, including government officials and employees, selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Statistical analyses included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test.
The findings revealed that (1) the factors influencing the job performance of personnel at the Bang Kapi District Office were at a high level overall. When considering individual aspects, the aspects could be ranked from the highest to the lowest mean as follows: achievement ( = 4.43), advancement ( = 4.25), the nature of the work ( = 3.89), recognition ( = 3.65), and responsibility ( = 3.58), respectively. Furthermore, (2) the comparison of factors influencing the job performance of personnel at the Bang Kapi District Office based on personal factors indicated that gender, age, marital status, education level, average monthly income, and personnel type significantly differed in their influence on the job performance of personnel at the Bang Kapi District Office at a significance level of .05.
