APPROACHES FOR DEVELOPING THE STUDENT CARE AND SUPPORT SYSTEM USING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE NETWORK FOR PROMOTING EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT EFFICIENCY IN NORTHERN SUKSA SONGKHRO SCHOOLS

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to examine the essential requirements for developing a student support system using digital technology to enhance the efficiency of education management in schools under the Northern Educational Assistance School, and 2) investigate approaches for developing such a student support system using digital technology within the aforementioned school network. The sample consisted of 285 participants, including 34 school administrators and 251 teachers, from 17 schools in the Northern Regional Network for Enhancing Educational Management Efficiency for Schools for Children with Disabilities. The research instruments comprised a needs assessment questionnaire for developing the student support system using digital technology, designed as a five-point Likert scale and group discussion recording forms. Data analysis was conducted using basic statistical methods, including percentage, mean, standard deviation, and needs index, as well as qualitative content analysis.
The research findings revealed that;
- The essential needs for developing a student care and support system using
digital technology in the educational network of the Northern Region’s Schools for the Underprivileged are prioritized as follows: Student referral ranked first with the highest necessity index (PNI modified = 0.215), individual student recognition ranked second (PNI modified = 0.207), prevention and problem-solving ranked third (PNI modified = 0.204), student screening ranked fourth (PNI modified = 0.195), student promotion ranked fifth (PNI modified = 0.178).
- Guidelines for Developing a Student Support System Using Digital
Technology in Educational Institutions; The Northern Regional Network for Enhancing the Efficiency of Educational Management in Special Education Schools consists of a total of 26 guidelines. These are categorized as follows: 6 guidelines on individual student identification, 5 guidelines on student screening, 5 guidelines on student promotion, 5 guidelines on prevention and problem-solving, and 5 guidelines on student referral.
