Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the promotion of students’ innovativeness and to explore approaches for developing the promotion of innovativeness among students under the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 4. The sample group consisted of 148 school administrators and teachers, as well as 12 experts selected through purposive sampling for focus group discussions. The research instruments included a questionnaire and a focus group discussion record form. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.


The research findings revealed that the overall promotion of students’ innovativeness was at a high level. When examined by specific aspects, all were found to be at a high level as follows: creating a learning atmosphere, providing learning opportunities, building a community learning network, encouraging discovery, fostering creativity, and promoting students’ future-oriented thinking, respectively.


The development guidelines are as follows: 1) there should be an analysis of future trends and directions in education. 2) the use of AI, online platforms, and digital media in learning should be implemented. 3) active learning should be promoted by creating an environment conducive to creative thinking and utilizing technology and digital tools as media. 4) clear criteria and indicators should be established to stimulate and encourage learners to become discoverers. 5) budget allocation should support teachers’ learning management, as well as the creation and development of educational networks for learners. 6) planning for the organization of learning environments that affect student learning should be done in advance.
