THE DEVELOPMENT CREATIVE LEADERSHIP OF THE SCHOOL PRINCIPALS IN MAE TANG DISTRICT UNDER CHIANG MAI PRIMARY EDUCATION SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2

Abstract
The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to examine the level of creative leadership, 2) to compare the creative leadership, and 3) to develop and validate recommendations for enhancing creative leadership among school administrators in Mae Taeng District, under the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample consisted of 193 teachers who were actively teaching in the academic year 2023. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA).
Research findings revealed that:
- The creative leadership of school administratorswas found to be at a high level both
overall and in each aspect. The dimension with the highest average score was creative thinking, followed by visionary leadership. The dimension with the lowest average score was flexibility and adaptability.
- A comparison of school administrators’ creative leadershipbased on teachers'
opinions categorized by gender, years of experience, and school size indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the .05 level.
- The development and validation of proposed guidelinesfor enhancing the creative
leadership of school administrators resulted in a total of 25 guidelines, prioritized according to the perceived need for development across the five dimensions of creative leadership.
