Abstract

This research had the following objectives: 1) to examine the level of safety promotion in educational institutions under the Office of Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area 1; and 2) to compare safety promotion in educational institutions under the Office of Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area 1. The sample consisted of 333 government teachers under the Office of Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area 1 during the 2024 academic year. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Inferential statistics included the t-test and one-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA). When statistically significant differences were found, pairwise comparisons were conducted using Scheffé’s method.
The research findings revealed that:
1) Safety promotion in educational institutions under the Office of Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area 1, as perceived by teachers, was at a high level overall. When considered by dimension and ranked from highest to lowest mean scores, the highest mean was found in safety from violations of rights, followed by safety from accidents, safety from the impacts on physical and mental well-being, and the lowest mean was safety from human violence.
2) Regarding safety promotion in educational institutions under the Office of Chonburi Primary Educational Service Area 1 as perceived by teachers, comparisons by gender and level of education revealed no statistically significant differences in overall and individual dimensions. However, when classified by work experience and school size, statistically significant differences at the .05 level were found in both overall and individual dimensions.
