Guidelines of Using Social Media for Secondary School Administration in the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 3 Nonthaburi

This study was a survey research aiming to 1) study the current and desirable states of using Social Media for secondary school administration 2) study the first priority needed of using Social Media for secondary school administration, and 3) find out the guidelines of using social media for secondary school administration. The samples of this study were divided in 2 groups; the group which answered the questionnaire was 325, applying stratified random sampling method; and the group which answered an interview was 8, applying purposive sampling method. The statistical package program was used for analyzing and processing the data; and the statistical tools employed consists of Frequency, Mean, S.D., PNImodified, and content analysis.
The results were that: 1) the current states were in the medium level with Mean = 2.95 and the desirable states were in the highest level with Mean = 4.98; 2) the first priority need were the finance and budget administration; 3) the guidelines of using social media were 1) Encourage school personnel to use social media in their work more effectively, 2) Adapt social media in the management plan to suite the context of the institution, 3) Support and develop social media in teaching and learning, 4) Support the use of social media in the administration of the budget with prudence and caution, 5) Find appropriate social media to involve all personnel in coordinating and communicating with each other, and 6) Find the best way to use social media to communicate with people or organizations outside the school.
