Parent's Satisfaction towards Educational Research Center For Children with Special Needs In Kasetsart University Laboratory School Center for Educational Research and Development
Abstract
This research aimed to study parents’ satisfactions of Educational Research Center for Children with Special needs in Kasetsart University Laboratory School, Centre for Educational Research and Development.
The population of this research was parents of Kasetsart University Laboratory School, Centre for Educational Research and Development on academic year 2015 of 181 people. There are 26 parents of special educational programme 1 for Learning Disability Students which the samples are 11, 79 parents of special educational programme 2 for Autism Students which the samples are 52 and 76 parents of special educational programme 3 for Immaturity Students which the samples are 65. The samples were the parents whose answered the questionnaires and gave them back. There were 3 questionnaires to be used as research instrument. Data was analyzed by using percentage
The results were found that the parents’ satisfaction of special educational programme 1 was strongly satisfied in the teachers’ continued development and the overview satisfaction was satisfied. The parents’ satisfaction of special educational programme 2 were strongly satisfied in studying of pre-elementary students in special classroom which adjust curriculum for them and having IEP for students who could not study in a regular programme. The overview satisfaction was strongly satisfied. The parents’ satisfaction of special educational programme 3 was strongly satisfied in extra academic activities and the overview satisfaction.
