Teaching in Art Education for Promoting Learning and Life Skills in School of Thailand

Abstract

This Academic article aimed to present curriculum philosophy, objectives and art teaching strategies in school. Analyze issues about learning readiness for responding to education trends with 21^st century skills. This study investigates the answer by interviews teachers and people who work in the art education field. Analyze different ways of teaching strategies for knowing factors that should support teaching for learner’s benefits. Therefore, this article explains the importance of art education effects to build 21^st century skills. Discuss instructive formats in school for 3 school categories. Including, The basic education core curriculum B.E. 2551’s schools, Alternative schools and International schools. Moreover, suggestions to design instructional art education in school to support both Art for learning skills and art for life skills.
