The Area-Based Management System Model in Social Protection for Children and Youth

The research’s objectives were: 1) to study and summarize knowledge of area-based management in children and youth social protection and 2) to present the area-based management system model in children and youth’s social protection. This research committed quality research in 5 provinces which were Chiangrai, Ubon Ratchathani, Nonthaburi, Rayong and Yala. The data analysis was analytic induction. The findings were as follow:
- The knowledge about area-based in children and youth’s social protection composing of: 1) area’s resources as collaboration in local social factions 2) working mechanism 3) working process 4) success factors and 5) problems and obstacles.
- The area-based management system model in children and youth’s social protection consisted of 7 parts: 1) standard, policy, working framework 2) strategic movement based on information 3) child and youth services development with every organization cooperated 4) child and youth protection structure 5) budget 6) informal child and youth’s social protection in community and 7) campaign about child and youth problems awareness.
